When it rains it pours

If you all didn't think enough "rain had poured"... my BIL had a heart attack today. This is my sister who has cancer's husband. He is stablized now... I don't know much else. I seriously had thought the pouring was over... I can't believe this!! A blessing that could come out of this: He could decide to take better care of himself and get healthy!! He needs to!!

My nephew had a bomb blow up under his vehicle last night. He is fine, thank God he is in the Buffalo which is built for things like that. He was shaken up but not injured. Here are some photos of him. One is of him helping to care for an Iraqi man who was shot. He said the man was shot twice in the back but he thinks he will be okay.

The Buffalo is the most advanced mine resistant vehicle in the world. It can be configured for multiple missions and is specifically designed to be repaired in the field. Cutting-edge technology combined with the best American automotive components give this vehicle the maximum visibility, load carrying capacity, interior space and parts availability of any vehicle in its class.

    Hi Tarra,

I truly understand how you feel. When it rains, it pours. My uncle just had bypass surgery and he's on 10 medications and i pray and hope he really thinks about signing up for the EPC program and get rid of all that medication. For some reason, people have a hard time believing that anything can work except medicine even though he notices the major changes in me and my John.

My sister's cancer is still infecting her and she will be having another operation, which might be the 12th or 13th one. Her condition goes up and down. The only thing that helps me through it is the prayers that John and I partake everyday.

I realize that now that i'm pregnant, the best thing i can do for all of us is take care of myself and that's what i'm trying to do - one day at a time. You are a very strong woman and the love that you have for your family is evident, but i also pray that you are taking care of your own health, as well as the baby, and not putting everyone else ahead of your wellbeing. I know from experience that it's not easy to put yourself first when you're innerbeing is saying, "help others when in need" I'll be praying for your sister, her husband, and your brother. I know that God does have a plan for them even though we don't see it completely. I survive by putting all my faith in His Plan and His love for all His children. My prayers are with you and your family.

Tara ~ You must take care of yourself and your baby first and foremost. It can be so hard at times when family is going through hard times. But I can tell you one thing. Me being pregnant and on the EPC program has been a true blessing because I feel SO MUCH better than I did in past pregnancies. If I felt awful and had to deal with all this family stuff that would just make things so much worse. I hope your pregnancy goes well and you feel good too!!! I will also pray for your family. Gosh your sister has been through so much!!!
