Operation Support Alpha Company
~ Let's show our soldiers that we are proud of them & support them ~
The 164 is deployed in Iraq right now. They have been away from their families and homes for almost one year now. They will not be coming home for a few more months (hoping for Oct or Nov 06).  We are sending packages to one soldier in the 164 who will share the goodies with his company.

MAIL TO this exact address:

Erik T. Lindborg 7213

A Co. 164th

APO AE 09391

NOTICE!
Mail addressed to "Any Servicemember", or similar wording such as "Any Soldier", "Sailor", "Airman", or "Marine"; "Military Mail"; etc., is prohibited. Mail must be addressed to an individual or job title such as "Commander", "Commanding Officer", etc.

If you prefer to send items to me instead of directly overseas that is fine too.  Just drop me an email and I will send you info on how to do that.

Erik is an extremely giving and caring young man.  He is the kind of person who would literally give someone his last dollar and go hungry so someone else could eat.

If you want comfirmation that your package was received & feedback as to how much the soldiers liked it etc. please send me an email to let me know when it was sent and I will ask my nephew (Erik Lindborg) to keep us posted.

The moral of these men and women can always use a boost.  There have been 5 young men killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan from our area in the last 2 months. One was Erik's friend and roomate.  Knowing that they are all in our thoughts and prayers, and that we support them back home, means a lot to them all right now.
